Hung it over the kitchen island and the light hits the countertop perfectly without any glare. The open industrial shape is simple enough that it doesn't fight the room, and swapping the bulb took me all of two minutes.

The matte black finish hides dust way better than my old chrome fixture, and the clean industrial shape gives my breakfast bar that workshop vibe I was after. It hangs at the perfect height over the counter, casting enough light to read the newspaper while I eat.
