Wine Barrel Sconce – Kaufana – Made from retired California wine barrels – 100% Recycled!
Handcrafted from retired Napa wine barrels in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite lighting collection showcases rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. Available in a wide variety of designs and customizable options, our extensive yet singular collection is sure to be the most functional piece of art you own!
Our “Kaufana” sconce is carefully crafted from recycled wine barrels. We cut the wine barrel staves down to make the elegant frames then space them apart so there is plenty of light coming out all sides. For the front screen we carefully cut wine barrel rings by hand (you should see our forearms!!) then hand bend swirls before welding them together before attaching them to the front creating a screen to diffuse the light. Puts out tons of light!
The front has a removable screen accessed by a couple of acorn nuts and takes seconds to remove and replace.
If you would like a different size, just let us know and we can happily accommodate you as we love a fun project!
Can be hung horizontally, vertically or ceiling mounted.

All our products are carefully handmade using recycled materials. They are individually handcrafted, one-of-a kind creations, and not factory manufactured. It is therefore quite difficult to make identical items, as the materials we use are very diverse in galvanized steel color, patina or rust level. Our attentive artisans make every effort to create only the best from materials with natural variations that should not be misconstrued as flaws. These make each piece of a handmade product charming and unique. The pictures may not be identical to the product you receive. It’s probably even more awesome!
