Wine Barrel Ring Wall Sconce – Pestera – made from retired Napa wine barrel rings – 100% Recycled!
In our continuing effort to be environmentally conscious and recycle (and also make more awesome projects), our team of talented artists came up with this fun filled idea to reuse wine barrel rings in a unique way.
We work with a lot of interior designers and several of the projects needed something really different and yet modern / industrial while keeping a fun vibe. This LOFT line of lighting is truly one of a kind.
“Pestera” is modern and chic yet wonderfully rustic. Completely made from recycled materials and stylishly sexy. Each one is handmade to order.
We bend the wine barrel rings by hand (you should see our forearms) and carefully weld it together to make a rounded curve to focus light up and down. It contains 2 double sockets for two bulbs each (two facing up, two down).
We designed this for wine caves as they are constantly bashing and destroying the cave lights with the forklift and wine barrels and this is pretty much indestructible (we ran it over with a large truck, no damage).
It lets tons of light through and makes a design statement. Has a very steam-punk / industrial vibe to it in its simplicity and looks great on or off.
It works best with a flood bulbs and for caves we use high intensity LED bulbs so they don’t put out heat. It puts out a LOT of light! Fully dimmable.
We also have these in many other sizes and they look absolutely amazing in groups or at different heights. Perfect for restaurants and bars.
SOCKETS: are 60W max each (240W MAX total) and fully dimmable.
INCLUDES: Fixture, plus all mounting hardware plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat!
