Wine Barrel Chandelier – Colure – made from retired Napa wine barrel rings 100% Recycled!
In our continuing effort to be environmentally conscious and recycle (and also make more awesome projects), we came up with this fun filled idea to reuse wine barrel rings in a unique way.
We work with a lot of interior designers and several of the projects needed something really different and yet modern / industrial while keeping a fun vibe. Now available to the public, this line of lighting is truly one of a kind.
“Colure” is modern and chic yet wonderfully rustic. Completely made from retired Napa wine barrel rings and recycled materials and stylishly sexy. Each one is handmade to order.
We’ve always been captivated by the character of these retired wine barrel rings; at quick glance, they’re all pretty similar, but when you look closely you start to see just how diverse they are, and how much they’ve been affected by their life holding a barrel together. Our team of talented artists decided to make a chandelier that celebrates this variety of texture and dimension.
We cut dozens of barrel rings into small pieces then carefully weld them together to make a ring that lets tons of light through but makes a design statement. Its rugged simplicity looks great whether the bulb’s on or off.
It has a high intensity LED light for the interior that is powered by a small transformer that is mounted in the special made canopy. With no heat generated its perfect for wine cellars and caves and the low voltage means it costs almost nothing to operate.
It comes with with a remote control or can be controlled by a simple switch.
Don’t be fooled by its small appearance; the LED strip puts out TONS of light and is fully dimmable.
INCLUDES: 1 x Colure Light Fixture, ceiling canopy, all mounting hardware plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat!
DIMENSIONS: Approx. 28″ Diameter x 32″ Tall (if you need a different height, just let us know in the “notes to seller” on checkout). If you need a different size just let us know as I love a challenge!
