Wine Barrel Art and Wall Light – Hehku – Made from retired California wine barrels and rings. 100% Recycled!
I’ve always been captivated by the character of these retired wine barrel rings; at quick glance, they’re all pretty similar, but when you look closely you start to see just how diverse they are, and how much they’ve been affected by their life holding a barrel together. Our team of talented artists decided to make a chandelier that celebrates this variety of texture and dimension.
We cut dozens of Opus 1, Rutherford, Luna and other wineries barrel rings into small pieces then carefully weld them together to make a shield that reflects the light sideways and makes a warm glow against the wine barrel wood. Some have likened its industrial vibe to steampunk, but its rugged simplicity looks great whether the bulb’s on or off.
Beautiful yet functional, this art piece has 2 standard lights (60W each max and fully dim-able) behind the wine barrel ring shield art which is made from hundreds of wine barrel rings carefully cut and welded together.
The back is constructed of a retired Cabernet wine barrel carefully taken apart, dried, then cut into strips before being assembled and screwed together. These barrels comes from our famous Napa wineries and are completely 100% recycled and salvaged.
Beautiful and elegant, it highlights the dark red wine color and the graceful curve of the barrel itself. Securely bolted together and covered in several layers of a clear UV sealer, it is ready to hang in your wine cellar or to bring wine country into your home or business.
