We put this in our hallway and the light is surprisingly soft for how simple the fixture looks. It sits flush against the ceiling, so it doesn't crowd the low space at all. Exactly the clean look I wanted.
The finish is so smooth and clean that it just melts into the room, and the light it throws feels even and soft rather than harsh. I swapped out an old fixture in the dining nook and the simple profile makes the whole space look more polished without trying too hard.
Installed it in the hallway and the light distribution is surprisingly even, no harsh spots or shadows. The clean, simple profile really does blend into any decor without looking basic. Took about 15 minutes to swap out the old fixture, which was a nice bonus.
