The motor runs whisper-quiet even on the highest setting, which is a huge win for our open-plan layout. Took me about an hour to mount solo, and the airflow reaches the whole room without that annoying choppy feel.
It’s quiet and looks sharp on the ceiling, which is exactly what I wanted for airflow without an eyesore. The breeze is noticeable even on low, and it’s simple to switch speeds. This is my favorite piece of the room now — certainly worth the money.
The airflow is strong enough to cool my whole living room, and the finish looks much more expensive than what I paid. My only gripe is the pull chain feels a bit flimsy, but it hasn't caused any problems so far.
