The beam is narrow enough that it lights up the trunk of my maple without spilling onto the walkway, which is exactly what I wanted. Aiming it was easy since the head swivels. My garden finally looks intentional at night instead of just dark.
It’s been a week since I installed these in the garden and the way they bring out the texture of the stone wall at night is exactly what I hoped for. The beam focuses nicely without spilling into the bedroom window, which was my biggest worry.
The beam spread is wide enough to wash the whole flower bed instead of just one spot, which makes it perfect for highlighting the maple’s canopy. Installed it along the walkway last weekend and the garden finally feels alive after dark.
