Hung this over our dining table and the open cage design throws light so much better than the old fabric shade did. It was heavier than I expected, so definitely have a second person help hold it while you wire it up.
The exposed bulbs and cage design give off exactly the rugged, industrial vibe I was going for, and it anchors the room without feeling too bulky. Assembly took a bit of patience, but the finished look is a solid centerpiece that draws compliments every time someone walks in.
We hung this over our dining table and it instantly made the whole room feel more put-together. The industrial look is exactly what I wanted, and the way the light plays off the matte finish at night is really something.
