The directional adjustment is so smooth that I can aim the beam exactly where I need it, whether that’s highlighting a shelf or washing a wall. It’s bright without being harsh, and the mini size makes it feel almost invisible in the ceiling.
I was worried the gimble would feel flimsy, but the adjustment is smooth and holds its angle perfectly. It’s small enough to disappear into the ceiling yet throws a surprisingly clean, concentrated beam exactly where I point it.
The way this downlight throws a tight, focused beam really makes the artwork on my wall pop, and the mini gimble pivots smoothly to hit exactly the right spot. Installation was a breeze, though I did wish the mounting screws were slightly longer.
