Swapped out our old flush mount for this one in the bedroom and the difference is night and day. The streamlined, low-profile shape sits close to the ceiling, so it doesn't crowd the room the way our last fixture did.

Installed this in our hallway and the low-profile design keeps the ceiling looking clean instead of cluttered. The light spread is even, no harsh hotspots, and it was up in about twenty minutes.

The streamlined shape looks great in my hallway and doesn't hang down low enough to bump your head, which was my main worry. Only thing is the install took me longer than expected since the mounting plate was a bit fiddly.
