Handcrafted from retired Napa valley wine barrel rings in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite lighting collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. I created the LOFT line of lighting to meet the demands of interior designers who asked for unique upcycled products with fun modern/industrial flavors. Some have been so popular, I’m making them available to the public.
Modern and chic yet wonderfully rustic, each is handmade from recycled materials. This simple yet intriguing pendant light is comprised entirely of retired wine barrel ring buckles (where the rings are joined). Beautiful and brutal in design, it’s industrial appeal suits many design aesthetics.
We take retired wine barrel rings and bend them by hand (you should see our forearms!) into these beautiful pendants. Each one is just slightly different as each one is hand made just for you. In this world of big box stores, its refreshing to have something hand crafted for your home that will last generations.
I’ve always been captivated by the character of these retired wine barrel rings; at quick glance, they’re all pretty similar, but when you look closely you start to see just how diverse they are, and how much they’ve been affected by their life holding a barrel together. I decided to make a chandelier that celebrates this variety of texture and dimension.
Each buckle comes from one ring and it takes over 200 rings to make this chandelier!
INCLUDES: Fixture, 6′ cord and steel cable, black ceiling canopy, all mounting hardware plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat!
