Handcrafted from retired Napa valley wine barrels in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite lighting collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. We work with a lot of interior designers and several of the projects needed something really different and yet modern while keeping a fun vibe. The “Varju” is modern and chic yet wonderfully rustic. Completely made from retired Napa wine barrel rings and recycled materials, each one is handmade to order!
I’ve always been captivated by the character of these retired wine barrels; at quick glance, they’re all pretty similar, but when you look closely you start to see just how diverse they are, and how much they’ve been affected by their life holding wine. Our team of talented artists decided to make a light that celebrates this variety of texture and dimension.
Starting with retired Napa wine barrel rings, we cut and shape them into rounds prior to carefully screwing in 19 hand cut barrel stave pieces that lets tons of light through but makes a design statement. Its rugged simplicity looks great whether the bulb’s on or off.
The “Varju” fixture comes standard with 6′ cord and inline switch for ease of use. Takes standard bulb max 60W but looks best with an Edison bulb and can also be hooked up to a dimmer.
INCLUDES: 1 x Varju Wine Barrel Lamp, 6′ cord and inline switch, plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat! (All you have to do is plug it in and grab a cocktail.)
