The “Dromiacea” is crafted from retired Napa wine barrel rings and staves, you can see the beautiful patina after many years of happy winemaking.
We took one of our wine barrels and carefully cut it into strips, then attached them to wine barrel rings shaped in a circle. The natural oak faces the bulb to enhance its warm glow for a truly delightful effect. The deep red of the staves, earned during years of wine production, really stands out and the wine barrel rings lend a wonderful design element.
Reminiscent of the Craftsman design period at the end of the 19th century, The Dromiacea produces wonderful light, delightful shadows and fabulous texture.Â
