Tafao – California Wine Barrel Charcuterie and Cutting Board or Serving Tray
Handcrafted from retired Napa valley oak wine barrels in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite cutting board collection showcases rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. Available in a wide variety of designs and customizable options, our extensive yet singular collection is sure to be the most functional piece of art you own!
After years of producing quality wines, they were retired to my shop to take on new life. Each cutting board is handcrafted from wine-soaked, Napa barrels and each one is truly an art piece!
The barrels are dried for a year before carefully taken apart, cut, sanded and sealed with several coats of natural mineral oil for easy cleaning and years of use. Re-oil the board occasionally as you would any other and it will outlast a lifetime of use.
These are meant to be used on both sides and not just for display. A must have for a true wine lover!
Each one is different, handmade and made with lots of love. These are made from retired large oak wine tanks made in the 1940’s I picked up in Napa.
CUSTOMIZATION: Want it laser engraved with name, date, initials, favorite dirty limerick, heck anything! We love a fun project! Just let us know (extra couple dollars based on size and complexity).
DIMENSIONS: approx 14″ Long x 11″ Wide x 1″ Thick.
INCLUDES: 1 x Tafao cutting board.
MATERIALS: Retired Napa wine barrels.
CLEANING: A damp cloth with hot water is all that is needed. NEVER soak or put in dishwasher please.
